I tried the game in French with English subtitles, but I liked siblings' voice acting in English with the slight French accent. Not heard any horrible voice acting yet either.
I've been playing it for the last 2 nights. Just escaped from the Windmill farm. Really enjoying it. Definitely a sleeper hit. Love the atmosphere and the setting. This is coming from someone who has a phobia of rats, so the game is extra squimish for me.
Just remake Sid Meier's Pirates! with Black Flag's naval, boarding and fort capturing combat. And the shanties, of course.
I haven't played it either. I did buy it last Dec when it was basically free (buy it for $14.99, get a $14.99 Amazon GC). But I haven't loaded it yet.

I've been meaning to buy this but haven't just yet. Not because of the mixed reviews, but because after playing Metro Exodus and sinking 100+ hours into Division 2, I'm worried about post- apocalypse burn out. Might have to go with something lighter for now. But hearing all the people that actually play it giving it glowing reviews. It will be played soon.

Most of the world are moderates. Some people haven't figured out that screaming "SJW!!!!” in every article is every bit annoying as the side they decry. Both ends of the spectrum are extreme and both are annoying.
Also, Gamers play games, not pixel numbers.
